PSP 3.00 Firmware Release Date Confirmed!

3.00 firmware

Rumors have been flying all over the internet over the highly anticipated (or for homebrewers, disliked) firmware 3.00 update. You saw some of the pictures from E3 and from other sources, and now its (almost) here. The date for the 3.00 update will be released on October 19! As you can see, there are many new features and even a new layout! By the way, there is now a "Remote Play" option under the network connections tab, for wireless play between the PSP and PS3!

This line: The date for the 3.00 update will be released on October 19!, is misleading.

3.00 does not come out on the 19th but on the 19th is when they are going to announce when it will actually come out. whether it be Thursday or some other day between now and Nov. 17. So don't get your collective panties all twisted up for nothing.

ANyway, a very reliable source in the psp forums has been talkign about this for a week, this is the release date in which at some game show thing they will tell when 3.0 will come out.

this is all real, it doesnt say it wil come out ont he 19th, and the pic is just for reference. you damn kids are so quick to judge, flame and assume that it just makes you all look so damn stupid

QJ was one of my most frequented sites, but the fact that this thread reached the top of this list when the source was so obviously misinterpreted has led me to the deicision to leave the QJ community forever. Until QJ gets rid of My.qj, I will no longer visit this site.

Why do you think SONY would actually release one TONIGHT at MIGNIGHT?
