do some more research before posting stuff like this. although it may require 2.81, a 1.5, or 2.71 user can play it. all that is needed is devhook. in the devhook menu toggle the 2.00>2.XX option and it will play.

Hes not talking about making it run, hes talking about the socom update wont install unless you have 2.81, the game wont run on 2.71SEB3 for some reason though. Maybe if you put a already installed socom updates on you psp maybe itll work but doubt it

Ok first of all someone PLEASE read my article correctly.... and the TITLE! You can run the iso/cso using 2.00-2.xx but you CAN NOT play online because the server periodlically checks that you have 2.81 or else ytou can NOT enter online. Another note is that the save file of someones game will NOT work because it is looking for FIRMWARE not savefiles
