So, it seems that this year at the Apple Computers MacWorld 2007, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computers announced the long awaited Apple iPhone! Although it does have smartphone type capabilities, it is not a smartphone, for it cannot officially run home brewed software from developers. For the iPhone to truly succeed, it must be hacked, as the PSP has been many times in the past. Then again, the PSP has it's unstable operating system that was basically thrown together by Sony Computer Entertainment. But we are talking about Mac OSX running on this device, not Sony's silly little XMB (Cross Media Bar) that runs on the PSP and PS3 systems. So it may be harder to hack. But in my opinion, Apple will realize their mistake and most likely add open developing capabilities to the new iPhone. Remember, Apple still has until June to release the iPhone! So I'm sure they will fix all of their mistakes before they begin to ship the phone. More on the iPhone later. Thanks for reading!
