A rumour has been circulating in our forums that 2.71 will soon be able to emulate 1.50! But dont all rush to upgrade yet, it is still unconfimed.

Looks and sounds promising, whas more, the quote says we should have this new DevHook by tomorrow night! This could be a major breakthrough for 2.71, making it take 1.50's place as the golden firmware.
Whats more, this could possibly mean some hope for TA-082 owners, as this could allow then to do many things that only people with 1.50's were able to do, including possibly emulating 1.50 itself. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

This problem has been fixed.
Looks good, and works just as well, this is a must for the newly enriched firmware 2.71
Be careful though, as this program writes to the flash, and so has a possibility of bricking your PSP, I quote:
Note: this program writes some small files in the flash, ONLY the first time is executed.
IT does NOY rewrite any existing file in the system, it writes new files, so the probabilities of
bricking are practically null
