Pandora's battery was quite a hit, but the sad part of it is that you need a homebrew capable PSP to create the battery. Well, if you are on a firmware below 2.80, then you can create one anyway. Here are the steps:

1. Get the 2.71 Update, and update your PSP to 2.71
2. Download the 0.4X Devhook Launcher + HEN-D and install them
3. Download the 1.50 US dump (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/8)
4. Copy the dump to 150 in the dh folder
5. Download Pandora's Battery and follow the readme normally (make a magic memory stick, not a battery)
6. Go to devhook and set the language of your choice. DO NOT make a battery yet
7. Install 1.50 from the following link http://www.sendspace.com/file/a645il (thanks to Erikih for the link)
8. Make a folder in the root of the memory stick named registry and copy the 1.50 devhook registry to that folder
9. Boot into 1.50 from devhook and back up your serial, and then make a battery
10. Shut off the PSP and switch the WLAN up and take out the battery
11. Put the battery in and it should boot into 1.50, to boot into the menu, switch the WLAN down.
12. If it didn't work, when you make the memory stick, if on Vista, then run it as administrator.

Have Fun!

KFWFlasher AIO .28 Beta
By: KIWIDOGGIE

cake

Yea Im back and i have a new fully remade version of KFWFlasher. It is still not done but it can,

*Flash Gameboots(no MB limit)
*Backup Your Current Gameboot
*Backup Your Flash 0
*Tell You How to Use It

It does not come with a included readme. For instructions you will have to launch the program and goto help. This took me awhile to get it 100% stable, and a few modchip bricks to get it to a working state.
Please Give this a Try

Be Warned this writes and reads from and to the flash so there is a very small chance of brickage.

So Far this works on these firmwares
1.00
1.50
2.71
2.71SE
3.xOE-X
Devhook FW 1.0-2.71

Others Are Untested But may work

Also To Come For this Program Is...

Team Create and Destroy have released a new version of their psar dumper. It can now extract and decrypt 3.03 the newest firmwares. This is a major development because for 3.03 the encryption key was changed in some spots and it was rearranged. But now devhook my emulate it. The only thing is unless you own a ps3 there are no ne features or upgrades

I would also like to point out that i made a post about the EASY 2.8 NON-TA-082 Downgrader Yesterday and it was denied

Ó

I've been in and out of the loop of things and need your help. I have downgraded from 2.60 to 1.50 sucessfully, my problem is that I've spent HOURS and searched many pages, and for the life of me can't figure out where to upgrade next! I've seen the updates for 2.71 se- b, b', b" and of course Devhook updates as well. It's moving to fast please advise where to go next. I tried the PBP for 150 and 271 and when I boot those they read corrupt or I get a can not read file error and it stays on 1.50.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Rich

irshell

 iR Shell 3.1

Well, iR Shell is back with a few more great updates! The best of which is that it is now compatible with Devhook .51. Another nice surprise is that an ISO plugin that has Devhook launching capabilities. The bad news is that only the 1.5 version works for 3.02 OE-A but, don't give up hope because it can be easily ported.

iR Shell 3.1 Features
* Universal Infra-Red Remote is now working under firmware 2.71 mode of iR Shell.
* Support direct launching of Devhook 0.51.
* Enhance nethostfs & UMD compatibility which will allow WiFi keypad redirection to work with almost all UMD games that are supported by firmware 2.71. This should bring the compatibility of nethostfs to about the same level as usbhostfs. Pls note the nethostfs is only enahcned under firmware 2.71 mode, nethostfs under firmware 1.5 is unchanged.
* Plugin suffix extension has been changed from 3 characters to 1-4 characters.
* Bundled a HTML Viewer plugin by Dark_AleX which means you can open HTML documents (suffix as HTML or HTM) directly from iR Shell file browser.
* Bundled an updated ISO plugin by StoneCut which has Devhook launching capability built-in. This is for use with legally owned backups only.

Bug Fixes:
* When running iR Shell under firmware 1.5 mode of Dark_AleX 2.71 SEC, if you exit iR Shell when "Allow Adhoc PC Connection for Homebrew" is enabled, your PSP will crash.
* The "Free Space" under directory view can't display anything larger than 2GB.
* Can't choose plugin # larger than 10 under iR Shell Configurator.[/b]
