Army of Shakes C# resurrection

screenshot

The original Army of shakes was made for psp but didn't work out due to language lua which made alot of the things very slow, but will go back to being portable when I can learn C or C++. This game is a kickass side scroller shooting game. Basically you're a ball of meat killing shakes and blowing things up, I know it already sounds like a good game. Anyways if you haven't heard of or even watched aqua teen you probably won't get this game at all unless your totally ripped and have nothing else to do. for more updates check out my site http://www.pspfreak101.com/forum/ (register if you can 41 members and none of them post)

Expect the game to be released in less than a month. If you would like to be part of the design team pm me on my site

Thanks to ManiacX, Access_Denied has opened up his new site over at access-denied.pspsc.com. The site has programming tutorials and snippets for both beginners and seasoned veterans. As of now there are 9 Lua Tutorials up, 3 C Tutorials, and many code snippets. In the near future, Access_Denied says he will be putting up his remaining 5 C tutorials. He also says that you can access the site using these four different URLs.

This allows you to swap the photo,picture,game,game150,game340,system,video,iso,music with another folder of the same name but has a 2 on the end.

File Swicher 1.0

This was made by mitchelljm

To make this small but great program I expanded on the work of keedier who made homebrew hider 1.0 and dark420bishop who made VideoPSpy v2. To write and test i used LUADevKitBeta1 which is the best program ever.

Made only small change to VideoPSpy v2 but add a ton to homebrew hider 1.0

Install------------
Extract
copy everything to root of psp including all the folders

USE----------------
Run Calculator
enter password(00=00=)
then on the side it says what every number does.
just hit number then enter

Change Password----
open script.lua with notepad
change the two sets of zero to what ever.
--Note-- to enter password on psp enter first number, press "enter", enter second number, press "enter"

Note--------------
the first calculator really is a calculator and will work as one untill you enter the password.

Download at playstationshtuff.com its the first item on the list

*/*/*/*Super Flasher By: mooser****

This program lets you flash a background, font, gameboot, bootsound, and Icons to the psp.

STEPS
1. Extract all folders into the root of your memory stick (ms0:/)
2. put your ltn0.pgf/gameboot.pmf/01.bmp-12.bmp/opening_plugin.rco/topmenu_plugin.rco In a folder called SF (ms0:/SF/)
3. load up Super Flasher
4. and You can flash what is highlighted with X or restore with ()
5. press exit when done

*****Note: even though confirmed working flashing can always brick your psp so I reccomend having a custom firmware before using.*****

Ó

I got a chance to interview TacticalPinguin today over MSN. I beleive this interview to be a highly insightful interview into the mind of a budding developer.

What grade are you in?
8th
LIAR
Dude Im in 8th
Okay.
What inspired you to start developing for the PSP?
I was bored one day and I had nothing better to do and then it just started being fun.
Why did you start in LUA?
Because it had more tutorials etc to start with and cygwin hates me.
CYGWIN hates you?
Yes, it does.
How so?
Well my internet connection would lag for 3 seconds during installation and it'd say couldnt connect to server and then itd cancel the installation. i got it working recently but it was too late, I know too much lua C makes me feel limited since I only know like 2 functions in it
Orly?
Ya rly.
Why do you like penguins? Did they ever inspire you in coding?
Well pnguins started in like second grade and ever since theyve continued to own.
And my first game was penguin related
Penguins 'started' in second grade, you say?
No I started liking them in second grade.
What do you find so 'own-ing' of penguins?
Well since they basically OWN antarctica, which is like 1/10th of the worlds land, its obvious.
next question
Okay.
Let me search my vast plethora of knowledge to come up with anoter question.
I have heard from several sources that you sleep with a penguin blankie. IS THIS TRUE?
Depends. What is your definition of sleep with?
I'll abide to the regular definition of sleep.
I would consider sleeping with something if it's on your bed.
Alright yes, I do. I sleep with it curled up next to me. But mostly it's for looks.
Are you saying that you find penguins attractive?
theyre cool, but not in THAT way
What way are you speaking of?
You're 14, you can figure it out.
Thus concludes our interview.

Stay tuned for more interviews.
