According to the president of thatgamecompany, Kellee Santiago, and the core designer, Nick Clark, flOw for the PlayStation 3 will have a lot more than the original flash version for the PC ever did.
This information was taken from the thatgamecompany forums...
The PS3 version will have 1-4 player local multiplayer and will be playable in 1080p!!!!!!!!!! On multiplayer:
Kellee-"
There is going to be local multiplayer co-op mode (well, is it co-op when you keep robbing your friends of evolve foods?). "
John-"Martin, Nick, Kellee and
I just finished playing through the entire game in multiplayer. It was
actually quite fun ... probably had something to do with the ability to
steal evolve foods."
Kellee also stated that if the consumer outcry for online multiplayer flOw is large enough, they will try to get Sony to have them make it as an extra download!!!
On 1080p:
Kellee-"
And yes, the game will be available for you lucky kids with 1080p screens. (I don't even have one!)"

flOw started out as a downloadable flash game for Jenova Chen's thesis about the flow in games. The flash version was released in March and was made by Jenova Chen, Nick Clark, and Austin Wintory. flOw is being developed by thatgamecompany and will be published by Sony Computer Entertainment. flOw is scheduled to be released in late February 2007.
